People are living longer and healthier lives, yet 3 in 4 of us will need long-term care. With the average cost of care exceeding $80,000 per year, do you have enough in your savings to pay for it?

We are pleased to bring you the option to plan ahead with long-term care (LTC) insurance. LTC insurance is designed to pay for custodial care once you are in need of assistance with two or more Activities of Daily Living or have a cognitive impairment like dementia or Alzheimer’s. The insurance will pay for care received at home, in a nursing home or assisted living facility.

Guaranteed Issue (no health questionnaire required) is available to new Active members* within 60 days of joining PSEA. Both Active and Retiree current members may enroll at any time by completing a health questionnaire.

With the completion of a health questionnaire, this plan is also available to:
Spouses/Domestic Partners of eligible employee’s with a PSEA membership
All other PSEA members including retirees, grandparents, in-laws, siblings 18+ and children 21+**

Not a PSEA Member?

*Active Pacific Service Employees Association members working a minimum of 20 hours per week for Pacific Gas & Electric
