This is a Preferred Provider Option (PPO) plan where deeper discounts result when you use in-network dentists.
With Delta Dental PPO, participating dentists have agreed to discounted fee schedules, saving you money as a result. The plan allows you to visit any licensed dentist, anywhere in the world, but offers the most savings when you visit one of the 17,000+ PPO network dentists in California. You pay nothing for in-network diagnostic and preventative services. In addition, you and your covered dependents can choose to go to different dentists.
Delta dentists have agreed to handle all your claim paperwork for you, and you are responsible only for the amount not covered. If you go to a non-Delta dentist, you are responsible for the entire bill and will receive reimbursement from Delta.
To use your Delta PPO benefits, simply make an appointment with the dentist of your choice and give the office your group number (07655-00003) and your social security number.
