We are pleased to offer a plan for this eventuality with long-term care (LTC) insurance. LTC insurance pays for custodial care, which is not covered by medical insurance, once you need assistance with two or more Activities of Daily Living or have a cognitive impairment like dementia or Alzheimer’s. The plan will pay for care received at home, in a nursing home, or in an assisted living facility, so you have flexibility to make the decisions that work best for you.
Eligibility
Guaranteed Issue (no health questionnaire required) is available to:
- New active members within the first 60 days of joining PSEA *
With completion of health questionnaire this plan is available to:
- Existing active members*
- Retired members
- Associate members
- Children (ages 18-20) of PSEA members
*Payment is conveniently deducted from your paycheck if you work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
