The Purchasing Power benefit helps you manage your budget by paying for large purchases over time. Unlike layaway, you get your purchase now, and unlike credit cards, you do not pay interest or fees. Your payments are made through payroll deduction once per month. Easy peasy. Use an online catalog to shop for top brands in categories such as appliances, computers, vacations, jewelry, and many more.
To make purchases you must have worked for PG&E for at least one year. If you have less than a year with the company, you will still be able to register for Purchasing Power to take advantage of other free financial tools and benefits they offer. Note: To ‘Unlock your spending” your login is a combination of your personnel number and your first name. This is a case where you DO drop the leading zeroes.
